Stitch-School A-Z Sampler Workshop – Sunday 12th May – 11AM – 1PM
Embroidery experts Melanie Bowles and Aimee Betts are pleased to be hosting the A-Z Sampler Workshop at Stag & Bow in Forest Hill. Working on the Stitch-School linen sampler to explore, learn and practice the A-Z of embroidery stitches. Each letter of the alphabet has its own individual embroidery technique ready to practice. The alphabet is printed onto a linen sampler and accompanied with an instruction sheet illustrating each stitch.
Participants will receive the A-Z Embroidery sampler containing a 48cm x 76cm printed linen sampler and instruction sheet of stitches. DMC threads and hoop are provided for workshop.

Co-founder Aimee Betts specialises in embroidery and braided and studied at the Royal College of Art. Her work can found at The New Craftsmen, she is specialist stitch technician at Chelsea College of Art and Goldsmiths University.
Co-founder Melanie Bowles studied Embroidery at Manchester Metroplotian University, she is Senior Lecturer in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Arts. Author of Digital Textile Design and Print Make Wear publisher Laurence King. She specialises in designing educational graphics that encourage textile crafts.
