Stitch School

MidCentury Modern Show - Sunday March 10th

Stitch-School are thrilled to be showing at MidCentury Modern Sunday March 10th the amazing surroundings of Dulwich College. We are happy to be amongst MidCentury Modern as Stitch-School work is influenced by the inventor of the Kindergarten Friedrich Freobel 1782-1852. Froebel created a series of Gifts and Occupations using building blocks, geometry, paper weaving, sewing and modelling clay that inspired a generation of future modernists that passed through his Kindergartens, such as Frank Lloyd Wrigh, Braque, Klee, Kandinsky, Le Corbusier.
